At Home in the World

$1,400.00

30”H x 24”W x1.25d I traveled to Japan last spring, and even though we missed seeing the cherry blossoms, it was so beautiful, and the people we met were so kind. I definitely want to go back. One thing that struck us as so interesting is how they build for longevity. There were temples there like this one where they prepared the replacement lumber for when it would need to be repaired at the time of it being built. They planned for centuries of permanence.
